Point Edward Jr B Pacers Lacrosse team continues to struggle after taking a 22 - 2 loss against the leading Mid West Division Elora Mowhawks (15-2) Saturday night in Elora.
Elora scored 9 goals in the 1st period, 6 in the 2nd and 7 in the 3rd. Pacers two goals came in the first period by Jack Dunn from Alex Mayhead and Cory Burr and the second goal in the third by Blain Adams on the power play from Blair McFarlane and Alex Mayhead.
Elora outshot the Point 96 - 21 and scored 6 power play goals on 7 opportunities. Point Edward scored once on seven opportunities.
In total Point Edward took a total of 42 minutes in penalties on 10 infractions, Elora took 29 minutes on 9 infractions.
The Pacers are now 1 - 15 for the season and look for a win today (Sunday June 15) when they host the London Blue Devils (4-15) at 2:00 pm at the Point Edward Arena.
