Exhibition Softball Doubleheader
On Monday June 30-2014, the Alvinston Indians of the St. Thomas and District Fastball League will play host to the Argentina Men’s National Team.
The Exhibition Double Header is scheduled to get underway at 6pm, with game 2 scheduled for 8pm at the ball park in Alvinston.
The Argentina National Team is participating in a 12 game Exhibition Tour across Southwestern Ontario and are being based out of Kitchener for the duration of their stay
They will as well be competing in the Hill United Snapper Shootout, and the North American Fastball Challenge Senior Men’s Tournaments prior to their departure on July 1st.
The 2014 edition of the Alvinston Indians are a well balanced group with veteran leadership, and a solid core of young talent .
The Indians are off to a great start to the 2014 Season, and are looking to finish the year strong while trying to build a strong foundation of young talented ball players for years to come.
This will be a good chance for the Town of Alvinston and their surrounding area to come out and support the Indians, and see some top notch fastball action.
