Sarnia Athletics Track & Field Results at the 2014 Canadian Track & Field Championships held in Moncton June 27-29
Derek Drouin Three-peats as High Jump National Champion clearing 2.28 metres.
Robert Hughes National Champion in the Men Javelin Throw Wheelchair F33 with a toss of 12.81 metres, Hughes also finished in Shot Put throwing 6.52 metres.
Scott Campbell in his first year at Senior Nationals finished in 7th place clearing 1.98 metres.
Jillian Drouin placed second place in the Women’s High Jump with a jump of 1.86 metres, Jillian also placed 7th place in Shot Put with a throw of 13.04 metres.
Drelan Bramwell finished in 7th place in the Men’s 200 metre final with a time of 21.54.
Junior Aged Athlete Danielle Quinn placed fourth in the Triple Jump 12.27 metres.
Junior Aged Athlete Mckayla Eves had a strong showing in the Women 200 Meter dash with a time of 25.09 and 12.28 in the 100 metres.
Up next for Sarnia Athletics Track and Field is the National Junior Track and Field Championships to be held in Sainte-Thérèse, QC July 4th-6th.
