The Huron Lakers Atom Girls basketball team were Champions at the Midwest Ahtletics March Madness Tournament in St. Clair Shores last weekend.
In round robin action the team went undefeated with two wins against two Lady Pride teams from Grosse Point. The first game against Lady Pride Richards the Lakers won with a final score of 20 -17. The second win against Lady Pride Gonzalez Lakers won 16 - 8 and n the Championship game they met Lady Pride Richards for the second time and won with a final score of 18 - 6 to take the Atom division title.
