Forest Native Tyler McGregor a member of Team Canada Sledge Hockey team defeated Norway 3 - 0 to earn the Bronze Medal for Canada at the Paralympics in Sochia Russia.
This was the second time these two teams met in the competition with Canada taking a 4 - 0 win against Norway in the Preliminary round.
After a scoreless first period Canada would score :30 seconds into the second period. Two minutes later Canada added their second goal and the final goal was scored on the power play at 6:42. Brad Bowden scored the first goal and Billy Bridges scored the final two.
Canada went 3 - 0 in Preliminary play and suffered a 3 - 0 loss to the USA in the semifinals.
#8 Tyler McGregor played in all five games and earned three points on assists. Two in the 10 - 1 win against Sweden and a single in the Preliminary game against Norway.
