LKSSAA Ladies Hockey Season Openers

SOUTH SENIOR GIRLS HOCKEY

The South Senior girls hockey league opened with Ursuline College taking a solid 6 - 1 win over Lambton-Kent. The two sides were tied one each after the first and in the second Ursuline dominated and scored 5. Both sides went scoreless in the third. Goal scorers not available.

NORTH SENIOR GIRLS HOCKEY

Closer to home North Lambton Eagles edged out St. Clair Colts 2 - 1 in the North Senior girls hockey league season opener. Scoring for the Eagles were Nicole Rogers assisted by Bradey Couwenberg and Adrienne Sanders and Selena Dirven added the second assisted by Amy McIntyre and Nicole Rogers.

Avery Devereaux scored the lone goal for St. Clair with Leslie Brandon earning the assist.

Two games are set for today (Tuesday Nov 18)
NLSS vs Northern at the RBC Centre and LCCVI vs St. Clair at Clearwater Arena. Both games begin at 3:00 pm.
