Jr. Vikings Football Remain Undefeated

The Jr. Vikings
remained undefeated in LKSSAA
Jr. 8 Man Football play with a
41- 14 win at St. Clair.
Aden Alkinani
initiated the scoring on special
teams, with punt returns of 65 &
105 yards for touchdowns in the
1st & 2nd quarter. Gabe Barnes
successfully booted one of the
point after attempts to stake
the Vikings to a 13-0 lead.
Alkanani then
contributed another touchdown on
the offensive side of the ball
with a 7 yard TD rush, while a
40 yard scamper by Josh Labelle-Voisey
and two more extra points by
Barnes gave Northern a 27-0 lead
at the half.
Barnes continued to add to the
lead in the third quarter,
adding another extra point on
both a 3 yard TD run of his own
and another 40 yard run by
Labelle-Voisey before St. Clair
replied with two touchdowns to
close out the game.
Kody Lyon and Nick Snow were
defensive stalwarts for the
Vikings, recovering a fumble and
making a pass interception
respectively.
