The 24-game tournament will be centered out of the RBC Centre, home of the OHL’s Sarnia Sting, but will also feature games at The Shores Recreation Centre in Forest, Ont. Those two communities, along with Petrolia, Ont., and Watford, Ont., will host pre-tournament games on Oct. 31.

This year marks Hockey Canada’s and Sarnia’s 100th Anniversary and to commemorate the 100th Anniversary, all 3 Canadian teams will be wearing the Hockey Canada 100th Anniversary Jersey’s. 2014 will mark only the 7th time that that the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge has been held in Ontario, over it’s 29-year history.

The World Under-17 Hockey Challenge will also give Sarnia-Lambton's knowledgeable hockey fans a first look at true international hockey, while supporting local minor hockey initiatives.
