Point Edward Jr. B Pacers Dropped Season Opener

The Point Edward Pacers Jr. B Lacrosse team were in London Thursday night for their Season Opener and came up short taking a 11 - 10 loss.

After the first period London led 3 - 2 and the two sides would shuffle back and forth taking the lead. In the second both sides scored 5 goals and in the third each team scored 3 with London scoring the final for the win.

Derrick Hastings led the Pacers scoring 3 goals and an assist for 4 points. Cory Burr scored 3 with Kevin Conroy and Kevin Durco each added a single goal and 2 assists earning 3 points. Brett Barnes scored once and Tyler Hastings and Tyler Smith added an assist to earn single points.

The Pacers are back on the road on Saturday April 25 to Niagara then return home on Tuesday April 28 for their home opener against London. Game time at 8:00 pm at the Point Edward Arena.
