Point Edward Pacers lost in Niagara

The Point Edward Jr. B Pacers lost 8 - 5  in Niagara Saturday night against the Thunderhawks.  The Pacers took a 2 - 0 lead after the first period but the Thunderhawks bounced back and out scored the Pacers 6 - 1 to take a 6 - 3 lead.  Final period both sides scored 2 goals apiece and the Thunderhawks took the win.

Logan Scott from Korey Conroy and Liam Wright (shorthanded, unassisted) scored in the first.  Alex Mayhead from Scott and Conroy scored the lone goal in the second and in the third Ryan Devin from Kevin Conroy and Ian Ferguson scored the first goal and Kyle Vince and Logan Scott added the final goal on the power play.

Point Edward went one for five on the power play, Niagara went zero for five.

Niagara outshot the Pacers 23 - 36.  Ian Ferguson made 28 saves in net for the Pacers.  Wyatt Fauzey made 18 saves in the win.

The Pacers are now 0 - 2 in the early season and look for their first win at home on Tuesday April 28 at the Point Edward Arena beginnig at 8:00 pm.
