Mooretown Flags Announce Doug Slipacoff as New Head Coach

The
Mooretown Flags Jr C Hockey team
are making a change to their
head coaching position. Blake
Morrison, who was brought in
last season on a short term
basis will not be returning.
Blake performed his roll
admirably and the club would
like to thank Blake for his time
with the team and his
achievements in his short time
with the club. We wish him well
in his future hockey endeavours.
As
we enter the 2015-2016 season
the Mooretown Flags are
announcing Doug Slipacoff as the
new head coach. The Flags are
delighted Doug has accepted the
challenge of leading our club.
Doug brings an extensive resume
to the Flags both as a player
and a coach. After Doug
completed his playing career at
Neumann College he has spent
time coaching at the NCAA level
with Bowling Green, the AAA
level with Lambton Jr Sting and
the Jr B. level with the Lambton
Shores Predators. Doug has also
been involved with High
Performance camps with the Minor
Hockey Alliance and the OHF/OHL.
Chris Rocca will be staying on
as an assistant coach under
Doug. Further assistants will be
named in the near future.
The
Flags will be announcing dates
for summer skates and the main
camp shortly.
