Point Edward Jr B Pacers Win Home Opener

On Tuesday night the Point Edward Pacers OLA Jr. B Lacrosse team celebrated their first win of the season at their home opener against the London Blue Devils.

The Pacers took a 4 - 0 lead in the first and added 6 goals in the second to take a solid 10 - 1 lead after two periods and finished the game with a final score of 14 - 4.

Cory Burr and Brett Barnes each scored 3 goals in the win and Jacob Couglin scored 2. Derrick Hastings, Alex Mayhead, Blair McFarlane, Korey Conroy, Kyle Vince and Jack Dunn added singles.

Former London Blue Devil (Int) netminder Tyler Hastings earned his first win of the season with the Pacers.

The Pacers are now 1-2 and return to action tonight (Wednesday) at the Point Edward Arena hosting the Windsor Clippers. Windsor is currently 2 - 0 in the early season. Game time 8:00 pm.
