Kaden Fulcher Earned First Win in OHL Debut

Mi - Lambton AAA alumni Kaden
Fulcher made his OHL debut in
Flint and skated away with his
first career win.
The Sarnia Sting travelled
across the border for a matchup
with the Flint Firebirds on
Saturday night and took a 5-3
victory. This is the Sting's
second win in 2 nights.
Fulcher finished with 21 saves
on 24 shots looked confident
from beginning to end in what
was a debut to remember. Alex
Nedeljkovic made 21 saves on 26
shots for the Firebirds.
Pavel Zacha lead the way for the
Sting scoring 2 goals and adding
2 assists for a 4 point night.
The Sting power play was the
highlight of the game
capitalizing on 3 of the 4
opportunities on the evening.
Pavel Zacha had 2 of the goals,
while the newly acquired forward
Matt Mistele scored his first
goal in a Sting uniform.
Brandon Lindberg scored a
shorthanded goal on a penalty
kill that showed true promise
throughout the game. Nikita
Korostelev also joined in on the
scoring in what was a very
offensive night for the Sting.
After a 5-2 victory Friday night
against the North Bay Battalion,
the Sting are now 2-0 on the
weekend after combining to score
10 goals over the 2 games.
The Sting will be wrapped up the
weekend with a Sunday afternoon
game hosting the Ottawa 67's in
the annual Teddy Bear Toss game
at 2PM.
