There is a three way tie for
first place after eight weeks of
Sarnia Hockey Associations
Midget Tier 2 action.
Sarnia Cement (coaches Randy
Wilson & Lauren Vanderlaan),
Dante Club (coaches Mike
Montgomery & Paul Stone) and
Lakeshore Optimist (coaches Rob
Smiley & Craig Harvey) all with
nine points while Beehive
Windows and Doors (coaches Rick
Schroeter & Brain Miller) are
sitting with five points.
Lakeshore Optimists defeated
Beehive Windows and Doors 7-3 in
week eight of the Sarnia Hockey
Association Tier 2 action.
Both Maxwell Musico and Bryce
Dummitt answered with a pair of
goals each for Lakeshore.
Vincent Lavoie supplied a goal
and an assist while Logan Harvey
and Bryson Crossett-Pomoransky
rounded out the scoring with
one. Darius Brooks and Matthew
Dunn each earned three assists
and both Megan Hunking and
Joshua Glass each earned one.
Beehive Windows and Doors saw
Tyler Oudman and Clayton
Peters-Bennett net a goal and an
assist while Jamie Roberts also
got on the score sheet with a
single goal. Jacob Cunningham
chipped in with two assists and
both Jackson Burrowes and
Jennifer MacNaughton each
supplied one. Goalies Jonathan
Kameka (Lakeshore) 4-3-1 and
Daniel Brush (Beehive) 2-5-1.
Sarnia Cement dropped a 7-2
decision to Dante Club.
Mackenzie Fiddy led the offence
scoring a pair of goals and
adding two assists for Dante
Club. Both Hunter Raymo and Evan
Kwan were credited with a goal
and an assist. Chipping in with
single markers were Ben Wilson,
Zachery Montgomery and Dallas
Henry. Getting on the score
sheet with the helpers were
Kristen Smalls, Evan
Vandenbossche and Robert Smith
each with one. The snipers from
Sarnia Cement were Darren Howes
and Jacob Wilson while Zackary
Roehler-Date set up both goals.
Goalies Kenny Portiss (Dante
Club) and Daniel DiFederico
(Sarnia Cement) have the same
record at 4-3-1.
