Sarnia Minor Hockey Midget Tier 1

Four goals and one assist from Vaughan Degurse led Mr. Sub to a 7-2 win over Kel-Gor.

Jacob Ayers scored a goal and added two assists while Ryan Gould scored once and added one assist for Mr. Sub. Netting singles were both Adam L’Heureux and Nickolas Goodall. Chipping in with one assist were Jordy Grondin, Ethan Dufour, Craig Birkhead, Matthew Aalbers and Jordan Ayers. Answering with a goal and an assists for Kel-Gor was Kristopher Meads while Aaron D’Angela netted the other marker. Ryan Nutt supplied two assists and Justin Hyde supplied one.  

Jacob Serratore was a big factor in the 9-2 win for D&S Service Centre over Pt. Edward Ex-Servicemen scoring a hat trick and adding one assist. Peter Raymo netted a pair of goals and also earned one assist while Jake Trussler also found the back of the net twice. Jack McAuley supplied a goal and an assist and Adam Vanderlaan rounded out the scoring with one. Adding helpers were Nicholas Cooper, Adam Kapteyn, Jack Soeder and goalie Nicholas Gardner. Pt. Edward Ex-Servicemen snipers were Keelan Kells and Tim Hoven. Both Matthew Woods and Jayce Barnaby were credited with one assist apiece.

Lakeshore Optimists was able to hold off a third period surge from Dante Club to hold onto a 5-4 victory.

Vincent Lavoie scored twice for Lakeshore Optimists while both Logan Harvey and Maxwell Musico netted a goal and supplied one assist in their efforts. Darius Brooks was the other goal scorer. Bryce Smiley and Megan Hunking earned a pair of assists each and John Day earned one.

Ben Wilson took matters into his own hands and scored the first three goals for Dante Club.

Mackenzie Fiddy brought Dante Club to within a goal scoring unassisted late in the third. Duncan Taylor set up the first two goals and Zachery Montgomery set up the third goal.         

Mitchell Neal powers Sarnia Cement to a 9-3 win over Beehive Windows and Doors with a two goal, four assist performance.

Also capping off a strong performance were both Cole Armstrong and Jaggar Wark as they each scored twice and added two assists for Sarnia Cement. Zachary Turner found the back of the net twice while Zachery Roehler-Date lit the lamp once and earned an assist. Chipping in with one assist each were Savannah MacKinnon, Jayden Geerts-Knowles and Taylor Iacobelli. Tyler McNaught produced a goal and two assists for Beehive. Matthew Vandenberg rounded out the scoring with one. Both Abby Miller and Tyler Oudman were credited with an assist apiece.
