Sarnia Hockey Tier 1 Midget Weekend Highlights

D&S Service Centre skated to an
8-5 victory over Mr. Sub in
Midget Tier 1 action.
Adam Vanderlaan padded his stats
scoring three times for D&S.
Adam Kapteyn found the back of
the net twice plus adding two
assists in his efforts. Jacob
Serratore was credited with a
goal and an assist. Both Peter
Raymo and Cameron Vandenbossche
rounded out the scoring with one
apiece. Ty Espinola and Ryan
Smith contributed a pair of
assists each while Aaron
Cicchini and Ashton Williams
earned one.
Vaughan Degurse’s offensive
skills earned him a hat trick
for Mr. Sub. Ethan Dufour
provided a goal and an assist
and Andrew Kapteyn notched the
other goal. Zachary Matias
garnered a pair of helpers.
Both goalies Nicholas Gardner
(D&S) and Hendrik Lindout (Mr.
Sub) provided several keys saves
during this contest.
A four goal and one assist
effort from Noah Murray helped
propel Kel-Gor to a 7-5 decision
over Pt. Edward Ex-Servicemen.
Ryan Nutt supplied a pair of
goals and a pair of assists
while Daniel Joyce rounded out
the scoring with a single.
Kristopher Meads chipped in with
four assists, Justin Hyde
contributed a pair and both Tim
MacNaughton and Nevan Smith each
had one.
Goalie Lucas Cicchelli picked up
the win for Kel-Gor.
There were five different goal
scorers from Pt. Edward which
included Connor Coopman, Blake
Taylor, Keelan Kells, Liam
Austin and Tim Hoven. Providing
the assists were Ethan Kilbreath,
Nathaniel Pozdyk, Cameron
Orrange, Austin Freer, Matthew
Woods and Kells all with one.
Goalie Noah Caverly suffered the
loss for Pt. Edward.
