Nine Bowlers Share Lane Honours

Bowling Scores for Week Ending Dec 19

             Nine bowlers share the honours in the Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling report this week. Mark McCarthy, Pat McMillan, Roy Mezzatesta, Connor Smith, Dennis Ramsay, Brandon Gauthier, Ralph MacDuff, Tyler David and Pam Marciniszyn rolled dominant triples in their respective leagues at Marcin Bowl.

             McCarthy rolled his personal best triple 755 (238 – 290 - 94 pins over average and 167 pins over average for three games) in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to post the high triple of the week.

             McMillan fired 744 (241-279) in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to register the second high triple of week.

              Smith hurled 738 (279 – 80 pins over average – 242 and 141 pins over average for three games) in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to achieve the week’s third high triple.

              Mezzatesta pitched 738 (267-256) in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to tie for the week’s third high triple.

              Ramsay recorded 737 (234-279) in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League.

              Gauthier fired 733 (255-248-230) in the Marcin Sunday Morning Men’s League.

              MacDuff tossed 731 (268-269) in the Marcin Sunday Morning Men’s League.

              David rolled 730 (267-241 and 157 pins over average for three games) in the Marcin Thursday Night Mixed League. It was his personal best 700 series and his 3rd in his young bowling career. 

              Marciniszyn bowled 695 (255-230) in the Marcin Thursday Night Mixed League to register the ladies high triple. 

      Marcin Bowl Shoot Out Four will take place on Tuesday January 5th/16 at 6:30.

             Kevin McMillan tossed 717 (254-222-241) in Marcin Thursday Night Border City Men’s League rivalry. He was pursued by Kyle Adamson 699 (252-243), Roy Mezzatesta 682 (246-226), Mark Colbran 682 (239-235), Dan Chopp 668 (258), Roger Croteau 662 (256-237), Pat McMillan 651 (227), Franco Gabriele 641 (223), Dave LeClair 634 (238), Brandon Gauthier 634 (220-227), Mike Mezzatesta 629 (229), Dave Jones 256, Will Barnes 236, Don Oetting 235, Dan Cook 230, Bill Cole 220, Patrick Mumby 220  and Brett Matthews 220. The women were led by Sue Potvin 569 (200-202) and Toni Verbeek 544 (213). The team  Two Chicks And A Roo, consisting of Lise Patterson, Dara Sinclair and Ty Patterson  are the first half winners with 250 points. They are followed by Against All Odds 248, Can Am 234, Two Lefties Make A Right 226, Hump Day Two Ballers 216, Wooden It Be Nice 215, Wickens Chickens 213, Big Balls 203, The Mavericks 203, Spare Me 199, Part Team 185 and Lightning Strikes 170.

         In Marcin Aamjiwnaang Mixed League activity, the men’s noted scores were Terry Mundy 676 (259-224), Allan Little 562 (237 – 80 pins over average), Roger Williams 553 (196), Greg Gray 551, Jason Armitage 542 (204), Brad George 206 and Angie Delassandro 181. The ladies’ high scores were Denise Thomas 572 (218-201), Cid Bearhart 512 (192), Shirley Oliver 467 and Shannon Jacobs 460.         In Marcin 1046 Mixed League fun, the men’s upper scores were Todd Amerlinck 649 (245), Joe Borody 639 (248), Derick Wilker 584, John Hoekstra 554 and Darren Burgess 534. The women’s main scores were Karen Lupi 471, Sue Johnston 460 and Carrie Wilson 447.          In Marcin Triple A Mixed League play, the men’s top scores were Ken Nimmo 611 (204-222), Bill Austin 603 (224), Walter Amyotte 600 (218-205) and Dave Jones 575 (221). The women’s main scores were Susan McGrath 539, Rachel McGrath 528 (197), Wendy Street 503 and Sherry Anderson 195.           In Marcin Sunday Morning Ladies League action, leading scores were Lorene Oakes 466 (194), Deb Jones 451 (179) and Roxanne English 451 (180). Team standings are Sapphires 35, Opal 33, Diamonds In Rough 29, Gosh Garnet 27, Peridot Pinheads 26 and Pearls Of Wisdom 20.

          In Marcin St. Joe’s Mixed league fun, the men’s best scores were Jerry Borody 519 (214), Wally Smith 490 (196) and Joe Bourgeois 204. The women’s main scores were Stella Strand 497 (184), Toni Verbeek 487 and Crystal Borody 437 (170).
