Huron Lakers Major Atom Win Bronze in London

The Huron Lakers Major Atom team won bronze medals at the London Ramblers tournament this past weekend. The girls went 2-1 in pool play beating KW lightning and Kingsville and loosing a tight game to Welland. That had them finishing in second place coming out of pool play. The Lakers played London Ramblers in the semi finals Sunday morning, losing 38-31. This led them to the Bronze medal game, which required overtime to beat a tough Brantford Briers team. Their next tournament will be Hamilton's Blessed Sacrament at the end of February.
