The Twin Bridges Thunder 14U Girls won Bronze this past weekend at the OVA Trillium A McGregor Cup at EJ La Jeunesse school in Windsor.

In Pool Play the Thunder placed 2nd in the standings. In their first game the Thunder lost to South County 15-25, 7-25. In the second game Chatham Ballhawks and the Thunder split sets with Twin Bridges winning the first set 25-19 and Chatham winning the second 14-25. In the third set Twin Bridges came out on top taking the win 15-8.

In the quarter final against LVC Fire Ignite it was another close game that was decided in after three sets. Thunder won the first set 25-22, then lost 16-25 and came out on top 15-9 in the third, sending the team to the semi finals.

In the semi-final it was a rematch against the LVC Fire Ignite and the Thunder lost in two sets 25-23, 25-11. The Thunder then moved to the bronze medal game and defeated the South County Black to earn the bronze medal.
