Bowling Scores for Week of Jan 3

Serratore has been participating in the great sport of tenpin bowling for fifty
years, a sport that brings enjoyment and competiveness to different bowlers.
Like every other competitive bowler, Serratore always thought that a 300, 700
series or 800 series might be in the cards someday. It was just a matter of time
for it to happen. He already had conquered one goal tossing 789 several years
ago, being oh so close to the extremely difficult 800 series. Finally, after
being so close several times, Serratore achieved another bowling goal as he
tossed his first perfect game in Lambton County Tenpin Association (LCTA)
bowling action this past week. He recorded his accomplishment in the Sunday
Morning Men’s League at Marcin Bowl in his second game on lanes 21 & 22. He was
108 pins over average for the game and finished the day with a 712 triple. It
was the 5th perfect game in the LCTA this season.
Larry Plumb hurled 742
(259-247-236) in the 1046 Mixed League at Marcin Bowl to record the high triple
of the week.
Jo Ellen Beveridge rolled 687
(214-237-237 - 150 pins over average for three games) in the Sarnia Reserve
Mixed League at Marcin Bowl to record the ladies high triple.
Marcin Bowl Shoot Out Four will
be held on Tuesday January 6th at 6:30. Be courageous by entering
this tournament which will be played on a challenging PBA oil pattern lane
condition.
