High Triples Highlight Bowling Action

Bowling Scores for Week of Jan 31

 

  The pins were falling over like ducks in a shooting gallery in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this week as there were ten high triples recorded on the lanes.

 

           The top five triples belonged to Roy Mezzatesta, Steve Lewicki, Kyle Adamson, Rod Honke and Brad Cook. The bottom five belonged to Carl Best, Stephane Sirois, Rob Vandermeer, Mike Shephard and Jeff Raymond.   

             Mezzatesta, Honke, Best and Vandermeer tossed their high triples in the Thursday Night Border City Men’s League at Marcin Bowl. Mezzatesta fired 790 (256-266-268) to record the high triple of the week as he raised the bar for the race for the high triple award in the league. He was followed by Honke 767 (257-242-268 – 152 pins over average for three games), Best 754 (231-267-256) and Vandermeer 753 (268-268).  

            Lewicki rolled 783 (259-266-258 – 165 pins over average for three games) in the RCAFA 403 Wing Mixed League at Hi-Way Bowl. 

           Adamson, Cook, Sirois and Raymond tossed their high triples in the Sunday Morning Men’s League at Marcin Bowl. Adamson hurled 772 (258-259-255 – 148 pins over average for three games), followed by Cook 764 (258-299 – lanes 15 & 16 - solid, uncooperative 8 pin -176 pins over average for three games), Sirois 753 (254-240-259) and Raymond 735 (247-269  - 153 pins over average for three games).

           Shephard posted his high triple in the Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League at Marcin Bowl wheeling 741 (238-260-243).

            Pam Marciniszyn recorded 708 (224-228-258) in the Thursday Night Mixed League at Marcin Bowl to register the ladies high triple.

           Marcin Bowl Shoot Out Five will take place on February 3rd at 6:30 on the Detroit Open oil lane pattern.

           Topping off the scores from the Marcin Sunday Morning Men’s League were  Jamie Ridealgh 719 (255-257), Kyle Skinner 714 (264), Glenn Crowe 711 (268-244), Mel Matthews 704 (243-247), Bill Best 699 (246-269), Dennis Ramsay 698 (248-258), Ron Gagnon 691 (233-234), Rob Lariviere 697 (245-252), Adam Pinel 690 (248), Dave Jones 686 (238-242), Rob Ladenchuk 259, Brian Thomas 247, Rick Dennis 246, Steve Peters 241, Nathan Gonzalez 239, Kevin Lyon 238, George Reid 237, Scott Salmons 237 and Butch Wilson 235. Marcin Bowl Pro Shop consisting of team members Calvin Nesbitt, Jeff Raymond, Brad Cook, Dennis Ramsay and Doug Black fired 1265 in their last game to average 253 per bowler. They tossed 3474 averaging 695 per man and 232 for the fifteen games. J & K Construction consisting of team members Ron Gagnon, Nathan Gonzalez, Rob Ladenchuk, Rob Lariviere and Kyle Skinner tossed 1240 in their first game to average 248 per bowler. He was chased by Rudy De Gracia 664 (220-237 – 151 pins over average for three games), Larry Plumb 617 (225), Mark White 610 (220), Peter MacRae 599 (222), Gord Murray 597, Ryan Skinner 592 (235), Steve Cote 241, Tony Spano 232, Gerry Landon 225, George Reid 225, Adolfo Estoesta 224 – 75 pins over average, Jean Lacroix Jr. 223 and Brent Cornell 510 (198 – 81 pins over average and 159 pins over average for three games).  First year bowler Kevin Smalls converted the 6-7 split.           In Hi-Way RCAFA 403 Wing Mixed League fun, the women’s top scores were Patti Wyville 535 (183), Denise Walker 473 (173), Marnie Majeski 463, Shannon Burr 460 (195) and Sam Matthews 183. The men’s high scores Jarrod Petrany 583 (220), Connor Smith 582 (212), Jim Barber 536 and Tim VanEkeren 207.

        In Airey Lanes Thursday Ladies Happy Hour League play, leading scores were Lori Japp 447 (163-160), Ada Brown 444 (168), Adwina Whitsitt 434 and Karen Gormley 156. Team standings are “Hot Dog” 107, Donkey Kong’s 97, Lamb Chops 90, Ditch Pig 89, Rocking Horse 87 and Cow Patti’s 82.

        In the Marcin Triple A Mixed League play, the ladies’ high scores were Susan McGrath 648 (242-235), Wendy Street 559 (212), Dianne Fletcher 515 (195), Michelle Drew Jones 510 and Wendy Stevens 506.          In the Hi-Way Youth Junior division, the girls’ were led by Shayla Crouse 441 (174), Isadora Tremblay 424 (162), Paisley Wood 402 (146) and Katarena Vandeguchte 354. The boys’ best scores were Cole Barber 584 (203-198), Nick Lapointe 504, Devon Crowe 500 and Domenic Cocozzoli 499 (181).

        In the Hi-Way Youth Senior Preps division, the girls’ top scores were Amber Watson 411 (136-138-137) and Elizabeth Schuyler 292 (112). The boys’ noted scores were Jarod Pelkie 419 (148-143), Bryce Watson 396 (152) and Chad Crouse 366,

        In the Hi-Way Youth Junior Preps division, the girls’ top scores were Lyndsay Amerlinck 282 (107) and Laurianne Tremblay 254 (106). The boys’ high scores were William LaFramboise 382 (161), Gavin Baillie 350 (131), Riley Wagner-Gosselin 330 (128) and Joe Stinson 328 (142).

       In the Hi-Way Youth Juniors/bantams division, the boys’ leading scores were Alex Bourassa 334 (121), Alex Majeski 327 (126), Jake Coggins 295 (123), Samuel Schuyler 210 and Zachary Ingles 170. The girls’ high scores were Elsa McKinley 325 (115-112), Tyleigh Winger 296 (105), Shaylyn Blake 245 and Kyleigh Beauvais Chad 239 (105).

       In the Marcin SMAA Intermediate/Senior division, the gents’ high scores were Quincy VanEkeren 561 (196-200), Joshua Trott 542 (191), Brian Riberdy 509 (190), Matt Disper 505 (175), Branden Riberdy 462 (175-173) and Lucas Pawley 180. The ladies’ top scores were Mikayla Durley 379 (146) and Ashley Toulouse 308.

       In the Marcin SMAA Juniors division, the girls’ best scores were Hollie-Anne Jean 413 (150-153), Madison Kehler 387 (150) and Abbey Yates-Strangway 354 (122). The boys’ main scores were Maximillian Michelucci 468 (173), Patrick Cullis 468 (171), Ethan Boucher 428, Grant Remes 373 and Ryan Kameka 370 (142). 

       In the Marcin SMAA Preps division, leading scores were Cam Parkkila 343 (126), Emily Power 342 (132), Kole Parkkila 342 (130), Joey Windover 331 (129), Noah Gauthier 324 (124), Ryan Pinel 322 (119), Patrick Gray 319 (121) and Braeden Scott 318 (110).

       In the Marcin SMAA Senior Bantams division, noted scores were Brody Manley 282 (105 – 58 pins above average), Cecelia Rochon 234 (87), Mya Hanley 224 (81), Koby Brace 218 (83) and Nathan LeClair 131 (72).
