Perry's 3 on 3 Hockey League Finals
June 21, 2015



Perry's 3 on 3 Hockey League concluded on Saturday at Germain Arena with the top four top teams in each division playing in round robin action.



Novice Division

In the first game of the day the #1 seed Hazlitt Steeves Harris Dunn (21 - 1) went up against #4 seed All Season Concrete (8-12-2) and took the first game 13 - 4 to earn a spot in the final game.  Riley Dearing and Geremia Nappi each scored 4 goals in the win.  Joshua Hazzard added 2 and singles by Michael McCairg-Faasee, Morgan Matuzic and Mathew McLellan.  Jack Baerg scored 2 goals for All Season and Alex Simpson and Ashton Fraser each contributed with 1.  Reece Parker earned the win in net for Hazlitt Steeves Harris Dunn.

 

In game two the #2 ranked team Sentry Fire (14-6-2) edged out #3 seed Ritiac Construction (9-9-4) with a final score of 8 - 7.

Deegan Smith led Sentry Fire scoring 3 goals in the win.  Luke Laevens scored 2 goals including the game winner along with  Jonathan Flamminio who also added 2 and Julien Davis added a single.  Gavin Vanboxtel led Ritiac Construction scoring 4 goals and George Bracewell, Layton Meyer and Jack Morningstar each added singles.  Lynken Vosburg earned the win in net.

 

In the Consolation game it was an exciting final with Ritiac Construction taking a 12 - 11 win over All Season Concrete.  Jack Morningstar scored 5 goals including the game winner in the penalty shot out.  Jake White scored 3 goals, Gavin Vanboxtel added 2 and singles by Colin Bracewell and George Bracewell.  Leading goal scorer for All Season was Alex Simpson with 4 goals.  Anderson Koziol and Jack Baerg each added 2 and singles by Garry Bennett and Brody Najim.  Winning Netminder was Derek McAllister.

 

In the Novice final Hazlitt Steeves and Dunn went up against Sentry Fire  and took a solid 10 - 3 win for the Championship.  Riley Dearing scored 4 goals in the win with 2 goals scored by Joshua Hazzard and Geremia Nappi.  Kyle Berkvens and Mathew McLellan each contributed with singles.  Julie Davis scored 2 goals for Sentry Fire and Deegan Smith added a single.  Earning the win in net was Reece Parker.
 

Atom

In the first Atom division game it was a close one with the #1 seed All Season Concrete (16-2-4) going up against #4 seed Ritiac Construction (7-12-3).  All Season Concrete earned a spot in the final round after edging out Ritiac by a score of 3 - 2.  Scoring for All Season Concrete were Sebastian Pyette, Trevor Anderson and Darren Lapointe.  Casyn Foster and Nolan Croft scored for Ritiac.  Joshua Breault earned the win in net for All Season.

 

In the second game  #3 seed Co-Operators (9-9-4) defeated the #2 seed Haulin Assets Rentals(13-8-1) with a final score of 12 - 7.  Cameron Gould led Co-Operators scoring 4 goals.  Dylan Sutherland scored 3, Liam Frew added 2 and singles by Owen Kennedy, Evan Morningstar and Jack Birkbeck.  Turner Jenkins scored 3 goals for Haulin Assets, Michael Acker added 2 and singles by Dawson Winegard-Milne and Ethan Wark.  Logan Hachey earned the win in net for Co-Operators.

 

In the Consolation final Ritiac Construction battled hard and took a 9 - 8 win over Haulin Assets Rentals.  Nolan Croft scored 3 goals in the win with 2 goals scored by Nolan Mumford and Casyn Foster.  Ryley Compagnion and Noah Taylor each added 1.  Scoring for Haulin Assets Rentals were Turner Jenkins and Michael Acker each with 2 and singles by Ethan Wark, Tyler Glavin, Nolan Shultz-Allison and Quintin Bouma.  Caiden Smit was the winning netminder for Ritiac Construction.

 

In the Atom final All Season Concrete fell to the Co-Operators with a final score of 10 - 7.  Jack Birkbeck, Evan Morningstar and Cameron Gould each scored 2 goals for Co-Operators and Dylan Sutherland, Owen Kennedy, Quinn James and Liam Frew each contributed with singles.  For All Season Concrete Sebastian Pyette scored 2 goals and singles by Liam Campbell, Bennett Thomas, Lucas Gaspari, Trevor Anderson and Finton Allen.  Logan Hachey was the winning netminder for Co-Operators.
 

Peewee

In the first round robin game in the Peewee Division the #1 seed Hazlitt Steeves Harris Dunn (17-5) defeated #4 seeded All Season Concrete 13 - 6.  Chad Noetzel led in scoring for Hazlitt Steeves scoring 5 goals in the win.  Blake Wallace scored 4 and Logan Lake added 3 and the final goal scored for Hazlitt Steeves was by Logan Forbes.  Levi Plain put in 3 goals for All Seasons and singles were scored by Owen Peters, Cole Reinders and Carter Viglasky.  Matt Pickering picked up the win in net.

 

In the second game the #2 seed Co-Operators (15-5-2) took a 3 point lead and ended with a 5 - 2 win over #3 seed Haulin Assets Rentals (13-7-2).

Two goals were scored by Jett Morningstar and Jacob Zalesak and Shaun McDermott added the final goal for Co-Operators.  Noah Porter and Quinlan Schmidt scored singles for Haulin Assets Rentals.  Seth LeBlanc earned the win in net. 

 

In the Consolation Final Haulin Asses came out on top with a 9 - 4 win over All Season Concrete.  Noah Peters led Haulin Assets in the win scoring 3 goals.  Nathan Elliott added 2 and rounding out the goal scoring were Aiden Matuzic, Quinlan Schmidt, Matthew Moore and Kyle Flamminio.  Scoring for All Season Concrete were Carter Viglasky, Owen Peters, Jacob Gould and Levi Plain.  Hayden George was in net for the Consolation win.

 

In the Peewee Final Hazlitt Steeves Harris Dunn remain #1 after defeating the Co-Operators 9 - 5 to take the Peewee Championship title.  Chad Noetzel led Hazlitt Steeves Harris Dunn scoring 4 goals.  Blake Wallace and Logan Lake each added 2 goal and Caleb Burchell-Dupilka contributed with a single.  Scoring for the Co-Operators were Jett Morningstar with 2 goals and singles by Shaun McDermott, Jimmy Bennett and Cole Whitworth.

 

Bantam/Midget
In the Bantam/Midget first game in the Bantam/Midget Division saw an upset with the #1 seed Co-Operators (18-2-2) being edged out by the #4 seeded Ritiac Construction (9-13-0) with a final score of 8 - 7.  Ethan Dupont led in scoring for Ritiac Construction with 4 goals, Dawson Cook added 3 and 1 goal by an AP player.

 

In the second game the #2 seed Hazlitt Steeves Harris Dunn (14-7-1) took the win by a single goal to go to the finals after defeating #3 seed KV Sheet Metal (11-10-1) 12 - 11.  Max Steeves was the top scorer for Hazlitt Steeves Harris Dunn shooting 8 goals in the win.  Tim Kaldeway scored 3 and Daniel Field added a single.  Joshua Bressette also had a big game with 8 goals for KV Sheet Metal with Hunter Monkhouse, Matthew Raes and Joshua Bressette scoring 1 each.  Liam McCarthy earned the win in net for Hazlitt Steeves Harris Dunn.

 

In the Consolation game the Co-Operators took the 13 - 11 win over KV Sheet Metal.  An AP player led in scoring with 4 goals for Co-Operators.  Brock Perry and T.J. Harris scored 3 goals each and singles by Nate Broad and  2 AP players added singles.  For KV Dillon Saunders led with 6 goals and singles by Joshua Bressette, Evan Kwan, Jake Serratore, Hunter Monkhouse and Beatrice Dufour.  Bailey Reinders earned the win in net for the Co-Operators.

 

In the final game of the day the Ritiac Construction earned the Championship title after defeating Hazlitt Steeves Harris Dunn 18 -7.  Two AP players scored a total of 10 goals in the win.  Dawson Cook scored 4 and Ethan Dupont and Zack Bressette added 2 each.  Max Steeves scored 6 goals for Hazlitt Steeves Harris Dunn and Jayce Barnaby scored a single. Nicholas Gardiner earned the win in net.
