The Toronto Beaches Jr. A
lacrosse team, with assistance
from ex-Point Edward Pacers
Brayden Bell & Cory Burr,
secured 1st playoff birth since
2006 after beating Barrie
Lakeshore Sunday night 13-6.
The Beaches, 9-8-1, have two
games remaining in regular
season can place as high as 3rd,
or as low as 6th or 7th, seed
depending on outcome of
remaining schedule.
In his rookie season Brayden
Bell has a 2-2-1 record with an
8.91 goals against average,
while adding 5 assists.
While Cory Burr, splitting time
with Point Edward Pacers
collected 5 goals, 3 assists in
10 Jr. A games, while leading
the Pacers this summer with 48
points on 28 goals, 20 assists
in 16 games.
Toronto Beaches finish the
regular season with games Friday
in Orangeville, before hosting
4-12-1 Kitchener, and ex-Pacer
Blain Adams Sunday in Toronto.
