Shephard, Crowe and Smith Toss Top Triples

Bowling Scores for Week of March 28
 


                   Mike Shephard, Melissa Crowe and Connor Smith tossed the top triples in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this past week at Marcin Bowl. Honourable mention goes to Ralph MacDuff for tossing the second highest triple of the week.

         Shephard fired 787 (297-245-245) in the Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to record the week’s high triple.

        MacDuff hurled 767 (272-237-258 – 143 pins over average for three games) in the Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League.

        Crowe rolled 688 (236-225-227) edging out Dawn Pelkie 685 (207-267 – 75 pins over average – 211) in the Tuesday Night Ladies League to record the ladies high triple.

         Smith bowled 674 (259) in the Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to record the youth high triple. 

                Marcin Bowl Shoot Out Seven will be held on Tuesday April 7th at 6:30. 

         Ty Patterson tossed 738 (212-290-236) in the Target Trios Mixed League at Hi-Way Bowl. Additional strong scores belonged to Nathan Atchinson 717 (259-216-242), Dara Sinclair 617 (235-211) and Jeff Wickens 266.         In Marcin Sarnia Reserve Mixed League play, the ladies’ best scores were Cid Bearhart 563 (212), Julie Young 530 (211), Annette George 496 (175), Lana White 477 (180), Shirley Oliver 449 and Shannon Jacobs 443 (171). The men’s high scores were Roger Williams 551 (238 – 73 pins over average), John Adams 536 (206), Greg Gray 202, Bill Smith 194 and Marty Davidson 189.

The gents’ main scores were Rolly LeBlanc 548 (198), Fred Gutierrez 527 (196-192), Eugene O’Connell 516 (191), Tom Moran 499, Malcolm Carr 498 (184), Tony Godin 496 (183) and Roy Baker 201. Team standings are Big Dipper 129, Sun 107, Little Dipper 100, Moon 99, Milky Way 93, Earth 92, Saturn 83 and Pluto 82.

         In the Marcin SMAA Intermediate/Senior division, the ladies’ upper scores were Rachel McGrath 592 (214-195) and Mikayla Durley 429 (157). The gents’ noted scores were Quincy VanEkeren 579 (224), Matt Disper 593 (225 – 70 pins over average - 205 – 125 pins over average for three games), Brian Riberdy 509 (207) and Craig Machan 152.

         In the Marcin SMAA Juniors division, the girl’s notable scores were Morgan Pelkie 586 (260 – 89 pins over average), Caprice Hill 481 (191 – 68 pins over average – 162), Hollie-Anne Jean 459 (175) and Madison Kehler 391 (130-134). The boys’ top scores were Jacob Bestard 514 (186-174), Patrick Cullis 449 (175), Aiden Osborn 447 (186) and Maximillian Michelucci 395.

         In the Marcin SMAA Preps division, the girl’s top bowler was Skylar Thompson 276 (112). The boys’ best scores were Jordan Button 358 (138), Kole Parkkila 351 (145), Cam Parkkila 347 (134), Ryan Pinel 344 (137), Jaden Gare 329 (123), Kole Parkkila 318 (120) and Craig Deuning 303 (107).

         In the Marcin SMAA Senior Bantams division, the girls’ high rollers were Mya Hanley 330 (137 – 62 pins over average), Cecelia Rochon 302 (101-108 – 119 pins over average for three games) and Olivia Quaid 215 (84). The boys’ best shooters were Brody Manley 250 (99-90), Taylor Button 243 (86), Koby Brace 211 (83) and Nathan LeClair’s 62 single.
