Sarnia Hockey Tier 1 Midget Hockey League saw Vaughan Degurse
continue his dominance scoring six goals and an assist in leading
Mr. Sub to a 10-9 win over D&S Service Centre.
Both Jordy Grondin and Ryan Gould supplied one goal and two assists.
Tim MacNaughton chipped in with a goal and an assist while Pietro
Restivo netted a single. Zach Matias added three assists in his
efforts while Griffin MacLeod earned two. Jacob Ayers, Matt Aalbers
and Adam L’Heureux each had one.
Ty Espinola enjoyed a four point night with two goals and two
assists for D&S Service Centre. Jack McAuley also scored twice while
Jacob Serratore netted a goal and two assists. Both Jack Soeder and
Adam Kapteyn had a goal and an assist while Nicholas Cooper and
Peter Raymo rounded out the scoring with singles. Aaron Cicchini and
Ashton Williams supplied two assists and Jake Trusler, Adam
Vanderlaan and Cameron Vandenbossche supplied one each.
Pt. Edward Ex-Servicemen blanked Kel-Gor
6-0. Ethan Kilbreath scored a hat trick and added an assist in his
efforts. Matthew Woods, Connor Coopman and Nathaniel Pozdyk rounded
out the scoring with singles. Eric Capes chipped in with three
assists while Cameron Orrange supplied two assists and Austin Freer
earned one. Goaltender Noah Caverly picked up the first shutout of
the season.
