Congratulations to the St. Pat's high
school boys hockey team after they traveled to Strathroy on Thursday
and won the Strathroy High School invitational hockey tournament.
The Irish went undefeated in round robin play defeating UCC of
Chatham, Strathroy District High, and St. Thomas Aquinas of London
by scores of 7-0; 4-0 and 5-1 respectively.
In the Gold Medal game the Irish defeated St. Thomas Aquinas 5-1.
Strong performances were put on by forwards Ryan Geenaway, Josh Vale
and Matt Sawatzky, defencemen Nash Nienhuis, Jacob Williams and
Logan Scott and Irish goaltending was solid with Jakob Knowles in
net.
