On Saturday night the Flags suffered a tie after leading 3 - 0 heading into the third.  With the help of what many fans would say lopsided penalties the Kings came back and scored 2 back to back power play goals then added one more late in the period for the tie.

Despite the Flags taking the only penalty in overtime the two teams remained even at the end of the game.

In total the Flags were handed 18 minutes on 9 infractions including a double minor which the Kings scored both goals on. Dresden was given 14 minutes on 3 infraction that included a 10 minute head check.

Scoring for Mooretown were Nolan Riley, Ryan Lyle and Kyle Smith.  Kevin Ritzer and Kyle Dawson scored the power play goals for Dresden and John Montgomery added the final unassisted.

Dresden outshot the Flags 45 - 35.  Brandon Johnson made 42 saves for Mooretown,  Travis Moore made 32 saves for the Kings.

The Flags (12-7-1) are now in fourth place in the Great Lakes Jr C standings race, 2 points and one game back behind Blenheim (13-7-1).

Mooretown is on the road this week with the first tonight (Monday Nov 23) in Wheatley (9-11-1-1)  and then on Sunday Nov 29 in Amherstburg (13-6-2-1).
