Confederation Central Public School swept
the Sarnia South elementary soccer tournament by defeating Sir John
Moore in both championship games. In the boys final, Both teams played
to a scoreless draw in the first half before Confederation scored the
only goal with 10 minutes to play in the second half.
With the win, Confederation successfully
defended their title for the third year in a row.
Confederation completed the sweep with a convincing 4-0 win over Sir
John Moore in the girls final. The score was 1-0 at half before
Confederation put it away with 3 goals during the second stanza.
Confederation regained the championship
as Sir John Moore won the championship last year.
All in all, a great day with excellent sportsmanship being displayed by
all teams!
