Sarnia Cement,
with a couple power play goals,
doubled Dante Club 4-2 in the
second week of Midget Tier 2
action. Mackenzie Fiddy led the
offence for Sarnia Cement with a
pair of goals. Zachary Turner
netted a goal and an assist
while Cole Armstrong rounded out
the scoring. Zachary Roehler-Date
picked up a pair of assists and
Mitch Neal, Jayden Geerts-Knowles
and Eric Duguay each supplied
one. Goalie Daniel DiFederico
earned the win with 28 saves.
Robert Smith supplied the
offence for Dante Club scoring
both goals. Both Tamara Stone
and Kirsten Smalls each had a
helper. Goaltender Kenny Portiss
made a numbers of key saves for
Dante Club.
Beehive Windows & Doors came up
just short in a 5-4 decision to
Lakeshore Optimists. Max Musico
scored a goal and added an
assist for Lakeshore Optimists.
Single markers went to Peyton
Demarco, Nicole Paulin, Bryce
Smiley and Logan Harvey. Bryce
Dummitt earned a pair of assists
in his efforts while Cole Brown
earned one. Goaltender Jonathan
Kameka was busy in net and faced
a lot of shots. Both Clayton
Peters-Bennett and Darius Brooks
scored a goal and earned an
assist in their efforts for
Beehive. Tyler Oudman and
Alexander Tanguy rounded out the
scoring with singles. Mark
Soeder, Jamie Roberts, Jackson
Burrowes and Tyler McNaught each
had one assist. Goalie Daniel
Brush (in his first game) had a
solid performance despite to
final outcome.
Mr. Sub, after a five goal
outburst in the third period,
beat Pt. Edward Ex-Servicemen
10-4 in Midget Tier 1 action.
Both Vaughan Degurse and Tim
MacNaughton scored hat tricks
for Mr. Sub. Ethan Dufour scored
twice and Pietro Restivo and
Ryan Gould rounded out the
scoring with singles. Dufour
also had four assists while
Zachary Matias earned three and
Craig Birkhead earned two. Jacob
Ayers, Degurse, Adam L’Heureux
and Griffin MacLeod all had one
helper. Goalie Hendrik Lindhout
picked up the win. Scoring
singles from Pt. Edward
Ex-Servicemen were Keelan Kells,
Ethan Kilbreath, Connor Coopman
and Nathaniel Pozdyk. Keegan
Bressette picked up two helpers
while Jarrett Jackson picked up
one. Goalie Noah Caverly faced
36 shots in this contest.
D&S Service Centre and Kel-Gor
settled with a 5 all tie. Peter
Raymo found the back of the net
twice for D&S while both Ty
Espinola and Jacob Serratore had
a goal and an assist in their
efforts. Austin Williams rounded
out the scoring. Aaron Cicchini,
Nicholas Cooper and Adam Kapteyn
each had two helpers. Noah
Murray and Donny Stephenson
answered with a goal and an
assist for Kel-Gor. Brandon
Shanks, Evan Martin and Hunter
Smith netted singles. Dan Joyce,
Nevan Smith and Aaron D’Angela
earned helpers. Goaltenders
Nicholas Gardner (D&S) and
Kel-Gor’s Noah Carverly (in his
second game) both had
outstanding performances between
the pipes.
