FOREST, ONT — Lambton Shores
Predators Junior B Hockey
Club President and General
Manager Roop Chanderdat
announced today that former
NHL player Brian Dobbin has
been offered, and accepted
the role of Head Coach with
the team.
Dobbin's coaching history
includes stints with the
London Knights of the
Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
London Nationals of the
Greater Ontario Junior
Hockey League (GOJHL) along
with a number of seasons
coaching minor hockey with
the London Junior Knights
organization.
“We are very happy to have a
guy with Brian’s hockey
background and ties to our
area as coach of our hockey
club,” Chanderdat said.
“This is a good fit for our
team and we are excited for
the upcoming season.”
The Lambton native played 11
years of professional hockey
including NHL experience
with the Philadelphia Flyers
and Boston Bruins of the
National Hockey League
(NHL).
“I am very excited to be
returning to my roots and
coaching Lambton Shores,”
Dobbin said. “I am looking
forward to an exciting
season with the Predators.”
Dobbin is married to his
wife Carol and has three
children: Sydney, Wes, and
Jackson.
