for Week Ending April 23, 2016
Johnny Wilkinson, Ben Lapointe,
Branden Riberdy, Jon Bettridge
and Chad Crouse are the bowlers
highlighted in the Lambton
County Tenpin Association
bowling report this week.
Wilkinson fired a perfect game
(89 pins over average) in his
first game on lanes 13 & 14 in
the Sunday Morning Men’s League
at Marcin Bowl to post the
week’s high single. He ended the
day with 736 which was also good
for the high triple of the week.
It was his 2nd CTF
(Canadian Tenpin Federation)
perfect game with his first one
coming in the 2011-2012 bowling
season.
Lapointe bowled 706 (279 – 91
pins over average – 235 – 142
pins over average for three
games on lanes 5 & 6) in the
Youth Phantoms Intermediate
division at Hi-Way Bowl to
record his career 5th 700
series. His career five 700
series consists of three
sanctioned youth 700’s (2 this
year) and the other two are not
recognized as a youth
accomplishment because they were
bowled in adult leagues. The
sixteen year old has been on a
roll as of late taking the
honours for the youth high
triple for three consecutive
weeks. Lapointe also bowled a
296 in the Marcin Bluewater
Monday Night Men’s League this
week.
Riberdy hurled 620 (205-267 -
110 pins over average - 149 pins
over average for three games) in
the SMAA Intermediate youth
division at Marcin Bowl. It was
his career first 600 series and
his personal highest game
beating his previous high game
233 bowled in January 2016.
Bettridge rolled 602 (278 – 110
pins over average) in the
Thursday Night Men’s League at
Marcin Bowl to register his
career first 600 plus series and
personal highest single game.
Crouse recorded 593 (191-246 –
105 pins over average – 170 pins
over average for three games) in
the Youth Phantoms Junior
division at Hi-Way Bowl. It was
his highest triple and single
game.
Honourable mention goes to Chris
Crawley who bowled 579 (208-203
– 135 pins over average for
three games) in the Youth
Phantoms Senior division at
Hi-Way Bowl.
Honourable mention also goes to
Roy Mezzatesta for rolling 299
which was the second high single
of the week.
CONGRATULATIONS goes to Joey
Windover for winning his
division in the Ontario Youth
Singles Tournament in London on
March 20th/16.

Bowl Shoot Out Eight will be the
final Shoot Out for this season.
It will take place on Tuesday
May 3rd at 6:30 on
the BADGER oil pattern.
Hopefully with a super turnout
we can make this the best Shoot
Out of the season.

Hi-Way Bowl 1st
Annual Invitational Scratch
Double Elimination Tournament
will be held on April 30th
2016 at 1:30 PM. The tournament
is already full with a maximum
of 32 brave souls. There will be
16 payout positions. If you have
time on your hands, drop into
Hi-Way Bowl to see some great
bowling.
