Lady Sting Atom BB Win Division Title

The Sarnia Jr. Lady Sting Atom BB team won the Lower Lakes West Division
Title with a 2-1 victory at home
over the Lakeshore Lightning.
Leading up to the decisive game
3, it was a back and forth
series that saw Sarnia win the
first game 4-1 at home and fall
5-0 in game 2 on the road.
With the series win, the team
advances to the Lower Lakes
Tournament of Championships on
the first weekend of April in
Toronto.
The Lady Sting defeated the
London Devilettes in the 1st
round of playoffs to advance to
the West Division Championship.
After tying the first game 2-2,
Sarnia won the next two games
with scores of 6-0 and 5-1.
The Lady Sting concluded the
Regular Season capturing first
place in the very competitive
Lower Lakes Female Hockey League
West Division with a record of
15-4-3.
The Lady Atom BB Sting will also
play in the OWHA Provincial
Championship Tournament in
Toronto on April 8-10.
