Cote, Skinner, Gauthier, Sirois and Bestard are Week's Top Bowlers

Bowling Scores for Week Ending Feb. 20, 2016

         Steve Cote, Kyle Skinner, Brandon Gauthier, Stephane Sirois and Jacob Bestard are the top bowlers in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this past week as they tossed great scores in their respective leagues at Marcin Bowl. 

        Honourable mention goes to Steve Lewicki, Roy Mezzatesta and Ray Lucas.

        Cote bowled 765 (235-243- 287 – 91 pins over average and 177 pins over average for three games) in the Marcin Thursday Night Men’s League to register the week’s high triple.       

           Skinner rolled 760 (289 - 82 pins over average – 236 - 235) in the Marcin Sunday Morning Men’s League to post the second high triple of the week.

           Gauthier fired 290 (11 strikes in a row – 80 pins over average) in the Marcin Border City Men’s League to register the week’s high single.

            Sirois tossed 290 (11 strikes in a row – 87 pins over average) in the Marcin Border City Men’s League to share the honours for the high single of the week.    

            Bestard wheeled 623 (236 – 69 pins over average – 209 – 122 pins over average for three games) in the Marcin SMAA Junior/Intermediate League to record the youth high triple of the week.     

            Lewicki fired 747 (234-245-268) in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to record the third high triple of the week

            Mezzatesta tossed 742 (255-268) in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to post the week’s fourth high triple.

             Lucas pitched 734 (289 – 84 pins over average) in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League. It was his personal best 700 series and his career second, his first one coming four weeks ago.

         Marcin Bowl Shoot Out Six will take place on March 1st at 6:30. If thirty two bowlers take the challenge, there will be sixteen qualifying positions.

        Matt Salmons tossed 734 (241-248-245) in Marcin Sunday Morning Men’s League competition.           In Marcin Friday Night Mixed League activity, the men’s high scores were Ray Lucas 580 (213) and Paul Heckley 552. The ladies’ main scores were Annette Urban 489 (180), Mary Hearns 469 (210), Christine Mayberry 448 (170) and Amanda VanGrimberghe 445.          In Airey Lanes Sunday Night Mixed League action, the ladies’ best scores were Bev Rankin 501 (178), Michelle Fraser 458 (162), Marilyn Mullen 405 and Pam Bullock 161. The men’s high scores were Terry Bradburn 483 (189), Ken McLeod 455, Ralph Noyle 451 (164) and Albert Peters 167.         In the Hi-Way Phantoms Youth Junior division, the boys’ high scores were Devon Crowe 533 (191), Chad Crouse 482 (198), Nick Lapointe 480 (197-189) and Cole Barber 435. The girls, upper scores were amber Watson 527 (189-170), Shayla Crouse 433 (163) and Emily Harris 326.

      In the Hi-Way Phantoms Youth Senior Preps division, leading scores were Bryce Watson 429 (158-147), Kole Parkkila 401 (143) and Cameron Parkkila 389 (150).
