Bowling Scores for Week Ending Jan 16, 2016

 

            The pins were falling like ducks at a shooting gallery at Marcin Bowl this week as significant scores were posted on the lanes by numerous bowlers   in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action. Steve Lewicki, Randy McEachern, Billy Best, Mario Gonzalez, Mike Marciniszyn, Rob Plamondon, Mike Shephard, Pam Marciniszyn and Glenn Crowe performed admirably in their respective leagues to share the honours in this week’s bowling report.

Honourable mention goes to youth bowlers David Trott, Jacob Bestard and Novah Langille.

               Lewicki rolled 779 (253-269-257) in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to register the week’s high triple.

               McEachern tossed his personal best 770 (267-258-245 - 170 pins over average for three games) and Best 770 (257-244-269 – 143 pins over average for three games) in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to share the honours for the second high triple of the week.            

               Gonzalez fired his personal best triple 766 (300 – 106 pins over average – 259 - 185 pins over average for three games) in the Marcin Sunday Morning Men’s League. He recorded his career first perfect game in his first game of the day on lanes 17 & 18 to share the high single of the week.  

               Marciniszyn bowled 760 (279-255) in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League.

               Plamondon recorded his personal best triple 759 (245- 289 – 97 pins over average – 183 pins over average for three games) in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League.

               Shephard hurled 744 (245-267-232) in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League.

               Marciniszyn fired 705 (224-246-235) in the Marcin Thursday Night Mixed League to post the ladies high triple.

               Crowe rolled his career first perfect game in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to share the high single of the week. He accomplished the gem in his second game of the night on lanes 23 & 24 ending the evening with 700 (300 – 99 pins over average - 247).                 

               Trott bowled 619 (214-221) and Bestard wheeled 617 (262 – 98 pins over average) in the Marcin SMAA Junior/Intermediate division to take honours for the youth high bowlers of the week. Langille rolled a three game total 242 (95 – 64 pins over average – 143 pins over average for three games) in the Marcin SMAA Bantams/Preps division.

              Marcin Bowl Shoot Out Five will take place on February 2nd at 6:30.

               Jeff Raymond tossed 729 (238-277) in Marcin Sunday Morning Men’s League combat. They also posted a team triple of 2874 scratch to average 240 per bowler for the twelve games. The Team Outfitters team also had a super night. Team members Mike Shephard, Brian Long, Brian Watson and Glenn Crowe rolled 1006 in their second game to average 251 per bowler. They also recorded a team triple of 2774 scratch to average 231 per bowler for the twelve games.            In Airey Lanes Thursday Ladies Happy Hour League play, top scores were Bev Rankin 514 (196), Ada Brown 469 (187), Cathy Dobroski 438 and Karri Bouman 169. Team standings are Mouse 99, Crocodile 87, Seal 80, Monkey 76, Lion 70 and Elephant 68.

           In Airey Lanes Sunday Night Mixed League activity, the men’s main scores were Ken McLeod 511, Dick Swain 490 (185), Albert Peters 488 (190) and Bryan Parker 197. The ladies were led by Karen Gormley 460 (185), Bev Rankin 460 (200) and   Mary Bradburn 454. Team standings are Praying Mantis 16, Beatles 14, The Beer Bugz 13, Fire Flies 11, Bowl Weevils 10 and Fire Ants 8.

           In Marcin Sunday Morning Ladies League action, leading scores were Deb Jones 500 (192), Michelle Fraser 499 (179), Roxanne English 498 (179), Steph Chambers 495 (182) and Beth Scott 476 (194).Team standings are Sapphires 47, Diamonds In Rough 36, Peridot Pinheads 36, Opal 36, Gosh Garnet 33 and Pearls Of Wisdom 30.

          Topping off the gents’ scores in the Marcin SMAA Junior/Intermediate division were Ethan Boucher 492 (182), Grant Remes 472 (158-158) and Isaac Plamondon 161 – 63 pins over average. The ladies’ main scores were Kira Pelkie 526 (180-188), Morgan Pelkie 511 (186), Nicole Emery 419, Hollie- Ann Jean 416 (184) and Caprice Hill 410.

          In the Marcin SMAA Bantams/Preps division, the boys’ top shooters were Noah Gauthier 403 (151), Jordan Button 375 (150), Ryan Pinel 374 (150), Braeden Scott 359, Hunter Mitchell 305 (109), Tanner Walker Gray 301 (117), Terrell Walker-Gray 272 (100), Taylor Button 253, Joshua Shura 250,  Noah LeClair’s  110 single and Brody Manley’s  105 single. The girls’ best scores were Mya Hanley 348 (126-120), Skylar Thompson 319 (113) and Cecelia Rochon 303 (109). 

         In the Hi-Way Phantoms Youth Senior division, the men’s top scores were Brett Zevenbergen 576 (201-191) and Chris Crawley 349. The ladies’ best scores were Rachel McGrath 512 (185-171) and Kyra Lester 420 (156).

         In the Hi-Way Phantoms Youth Intermediate division, the gents’ high scores were Domenic Cocozzoli 471 (172), Dalton Crowe 455 (194), Colton Smith 432 and Ben Lapointe 182. The ladies’ top scores were Isadora Tremblay 461 (157-155), Kaela Koundakjian 410 (167) and Taelor Koundakjian 361.

         In the Hi-Way Phantoms Youth Junior division, the boys’ noted scores were Cole Barber 501 (200-177), Nick Lapointe 500 (192), Nic Peckham 490 and Devon Crowe 453 (175). On the girls’ side, noted scores were Amber Watson 425 (151-150), Shayla Crouse 420 (165), Paisley Wood 398 and Emily Harris 373 (142).

          In the Hi-Way Phantoms Youth Senior Preps division, upper scores were Camron Parkkila 447 (180), Bryce Watson 416 (146) and Kole Parkkila 379 (152).

         In the Hi-Way Phantoms Youth Junior Preps division, top scores were Kyleigh Beauvais Chad 289 (148) and Laurianne Tremblay 213 (82).

         In the Hi-Way Phantoms Youth Bantams division, leading shooters were Tyleigh Winger 282 (108-89-85), Cali Smith 244 (84), Zachary Ingles 236 (109), Shaylyn Blake 204 and Anna DeVeer 137.
