Bowling Scores for Week Ending Jan 23, 2016

               Roy Mezzatesta, Pat McMillan, Kevin McMillan, Ray Lucas and Melissa Crowe are the top bowlers in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this past week as they recorded great scores in their respective leagues at Marcin Bowl.

             Honourable mention goes to youth bowler Jacob Bestard.

             Mezzatesta rolled 778 (264-269-245) in the Marcin Thursday Night Men’s League to take the honours for the high triple of the week.

             McMillan hurled 761 (224-259-278 – 146 pins over average for three games) in the Marcin Thursday Night Border City Men’s League to score the week’s second highest triple.

             McMillan (Kevin) mowed down the pins twelve times in a row with his cannonading ball to record his career 3rd perfect game in the Marcin Thursday Night Border City Men’s League. He fired the gem in his second game on lanes 21 & 22 ending the night with 731 (228- 300 – 86 pins over average).

             Lucas rolled 722 (232-278 – 80 pins over average) in the Marcin Friday Night Mixed League to record his first 700 series.

             Crowe tossed 710 (247-278) in the Marcin Tuesday Night Ladies League to register the ladies high triple of the week.

             Bestard wheeled 601 (215-201) in the SMAA Intermediate /Junior League at Marcin Bowl to post the youth high triple.            

             Adam Pinel fired 717 (258-236) in Marcin Sunday Morning Men’s League rivalry.              Dave LeClair bowled 705 (279 - 11 in a row - 258) in Marcin Thursday Night Border City Men’s League combat. He was pursued by Billy Best 695 (257-225), Carl Best 688 (227-265), Rod Honke 679 (223-233-223), Roy Mezzatesta 656 (265), Mel Kongus 650 (277 – 86 pins over average), Brandon Gauthier 649 (264), Dan Chop 646 (222-221), Bill Cole 645 (257-237), Mark Brooker 643 (225), Stephane Sirois 237, Tim Hutton 236, Roger Croteau 235, Mike Mezzatesta 235, Dan Cook 224 and Dean Troiani 220. The Marcin Bowl team, consisting of Mark Brooker, Billy Best, Carl Best and Dave LeClair had a super  second game firing 973 scratch for an average of 243 per bowler. They also tossed a team triple of 2731 scratch for an average of 228 per bowler.           Topping off the men’s scores from the Marcin Friday Night Mixed League were Dave Urban 592 (200-224), John Somers 589 (203-231) and Bob Laframboise 563. The ladies’ upper scores were Mary Hearns 490 (174), Barb Montgomery 489 (170) and Sue Sorensen 178.            In Marcin Sunday Morning Ladies League ado, top scores were Michelle Fraser 527 (196), Roxanne English 494 (181-176), Joy Timington 482 (188) and Cheryl Millar 451. Team standings are Sapphires 50, Peridot Pinheads 38, Opal 37, Diamonds In Rough 37, Gosh Garnet 36 and Pearls Of Wisdom 31.

           In Airey Lanes Sunday Night Mixed League action, the women were led by Bev Rankin 525 (188-189), Dorothy Inglis 464 (179), Pam Bullock 435 and Michelle Fraser 167. The men’s main scores were Harold Peters 505 (201), Bob Chambers 482, Ralph Noyle 481 (180) and Terry Bradburn 179. Team standings are Beatles 20, The Beer Bugz 19, Praying Mantis 18, Fire Flies 15, Bowl Weevils 12 and Fire Ants 12.

            In Airey Lanes Thursday Ladies Happy Hour League fun, leading scores were Adwina Whitsitt 480 (165), Bev Rankin 465 (169), Diane Ross 446 and Patti Richardson 164. Team standings are Mouse 105, Crocodile 93, Seal 88, Monkey 76, Lion 72 and Elephant 70.

            Capping off the gents’ top scores  In the Marcin SMAA Junior/Intermediate/Senior division league were Joshua Trott 502 (185), Branden Riberdy 477 (164), Brian Riberdy 466 (160), Johnathon Kameka 455 (210 - 74 pins over average), Jarod Pelkie 427, Maximillian Michelucci 419 (167), Dawson Yates-Strangway 411, Grant Remes 378, Aiden Osborn 375, Patrick Cullis 367, Joey Windover 356, Craig Deuning 355 (147), Isaac Plamondon 349 and Matthew Brown’s 115 single.             In the Hi-Way Youth Phantoms Intermediate division, the gents’ top scores were Jack Peckham 407 (153), Cameron Verberg-Buchan 390 (144), Denver Taylor 381 (138) and Adam Harris 361 (134). The ladies’ high scores were Isadora Tremblay 394 (137-135) and Makenna Schuyler 297 (107).

            In the Hi-Way Youth Phantoms Junior division, the boys’ upper scores were Chad Crouse 478 (178-173), Nic Peckham 427 (155), Riley Wagner-Gosselin 323 and Blake Ingles 287. The girls’ high shooters were Amber Watson 437 (163), Emily Harris 413 (158), Shayla Crouse 395 (159) and Paisley Wood 361 (149).

            In the Hi-Way Youth Phantoms Senior Preps division, leading scores were Bryce Watson 489 (183), Cameron Parkkila 453 (165-161) and Kole Parkkila 339.

            In the Hi-Way Youth Phantoms Junior Preps division, top scores were Alex Majeski 371 (145), Kyleigh Beauvais Chad 279 (125) and Laurianne Tremblay 217 (83).
