Sting defenceman Connor Murphy has been cleared for contact and will took part in his first full practice on Wednesday. Murphy has been sidelined the entire season following knee surgery in August.
He is expected to be in the Sting lineup within two weeks.
The Sting have also announced that forward Davis Brown will join the club for its two games in Peterborough (Thursday) and Oshawa (Friday) this week. Brown the Sting's 3rd round pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection has 22 goals and 41 points in 26 points for the Strathroy Rockets so far this season.
