Forest, ON - A three goal third period would erase a 4-2 lead by the Chatham Maroons, as the Lambton Shores Predators win their sixth straight game and take a two point lead in the race for the final playoff spot.

Marco Canzoneri opened the scoring in the first period to give the Maroons an early 1-0 lead, as Chatham put 17 shots on net, but could only get the one past Brandon Campbell.

Brett Thompson would tie the game in the opening minute of the second period, but Chatham would retake their lead as Brennan Feasey scored two minutes later to give the Maroons their lead. The lead would not last long as Adam Arseneault would score 56 seconds later to tie the game at 2-2.

Chatham would retake their lead just as quickly as 36 seconds later Thomas Eady would put the Maroons back in front. Sam Studnicka would add a late period goal to give the Maroons a two goal lead heading into the third period.

The Predators would come out quickly in the third as Corey Pawley would score 29 seconds into the period to cut the lead in half. Thompson and Arseneault would each pick up their second of the game to give the Predators their first lead of the game with 1:23 remaining on the clock. Chatham would not be able to find the back of the net, and the Predators would come away with a come from behind 5-4 victory.

Brandon Campbell made 29 saves in the victory while forward Corey Pawley was involved in each goal, picking up four assists to go with his goal. Adam Arseneault also had four points, picking up two assists.

The victory gives Lambton Shores three more regulation wins than Chatham has, and puts them two points in front. The Predators would head to LaSalle on Wednesday to take on the Vipers.
