Sudbury, ON - The Sarnia Sting dropped a 5-3
decision to the Sudbury Wolves Saturday night, as
the Sting played their second of three Northern
Ontario opponents in their road trip.
Sudbury
got the scoring started in the first as Micahel
Sgarbossa scored his 35th of the season. 45 seconds
later, Josh McFadden would put the Wolves up by two
with his 8th of the season, as Sudbury lead 2-0
after the first period.
In the
second Alex Basso would cut the lead in half with a
power play goal, but the Wolves would answer back in
43 seconds as Nicholas Baptiste would put Sudbury
back in front by two.
Nail
Yakupov, who returned after his two game suspension
would score his 23rd of the season on the power play
to again cut the lead down to one goal. The Wolves
would respond on their own power play as Michael
Kantor would restore the two goal lead as Sarnia
trailed 4-2 after forty minutes.
In the
third, Sudbury would go in front by three as
Sgarbossa would score the second power play goal in
a row. Brett Thompson would add another power play
goal to cut the lead back to two, but that is as
close as the Sting would get in the loss.

Anderson made 29 saves in the loss.
Sarnia
will travel to Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday to finish
off their Northern road trip before playing in
Guelph and Saginaw the following weekend.
