Sarnia, ON - Heading into the final week of LSSAA
winter athletics, two volleyball matches and curling
matches were played on Monday.
In junior
girls volleyball, St. Chris defeated LCCVI 3-0,
winning each game 25-15, 25-19, 25-19. Brianna
Morris was the player of the match for St. Chris
while Tanner Jacklin was the player of the match for
LCCVI. The Cyclones finished the season in first
place with a 13-1 record and will take on St. Clair
in the playoff round.
In senior
girls volleyball, St. Chris also defeated LCCVI 3-0,
winning 25-17, 25-13, and 25-13. Katy Kuskoff was
the player of the match for the Cyclones while E.
Lochner was for the Lancers. St. Chris finished
third and will take on St. Clair in the first round,
while LCCVI will take on Northern.
In
curling, Northern defeated SCITS 7-4 in girls
action, and in boys action they won 10-3.
