The Sarnia Sting dropped a 6-2 decision on the road
in Saginaw, as their road trip final comes to an end
after playing nine of their last ten away from home.
Saginaw
would score five straight goals on Sarnia over the
first two periods, leading 5-0 at the end of the
second. Eric Locke opened the scoring in the first,
followed by Michael Finn on the power play to make
it 2-0 after the first. Garret Ross would score 53
seconds into the second period, while Josh Shalla
and Brandon Saad would add mid period goals.
Sarnia
would finally get on the board in the third as
Connor Murphy scored his 6th of the season on the
power play, but Saad would answer back to make it a
6-1 game. Nail Yakupov would score his 26th of the
season, but that would be all for the Sting scoring.

Anderson allowed five goals on 25 shots, while
Brandon Hope allowed one goal on ten shots in the
loss.
Sarnia
will return home to take on London on Monday
afternoon.
