Opening day of Elementary Exhibition school hockey league

 The Elementary School Exhibition Hockey League opened it's 8th season Monday at the RBC Centre.  The league is a "fun" league that comprises of both Girls and Boys from grades 6 to 8.  Players come from all levels of hockey from beginner to AAA, However each team is allowed only one AAA player in each age group.

 


League director Jonathan Taylor said "this league is intended for fun only, the players come from various schools and some take on the name of the school but the league is not part of the school system, it is run completely separate.  Any player who wishes to play can play for any team".  Taylor added "There are several openings available on teams if anyone is interested feel free to contact me".  (contact info below)

 

 

Rosedale and the Corunna B's were the first two teams to take to the ice where the Corunna B's came up top scoring 12 goals to 3.
