Petrolia, ON - LCCVI remains undefeated in
LSSAA boy's hockey after a 6-1 victory over the
Northern Vikings Wednesday afternoon in Petrolia.
The
Lancers scored twice at the end of the first period,
as Brendan Trottier scored unassisted, while Josh
Moore would get his first of the game for the 2-0
Lancer lead after the first.
In the
second, Riley Boyd would score 52 seconds into the
period for the 3-0 lead. Troy Whitely would score,
and Moore would get his second of the game, as LCCVI
moved to a 5-0 lead midway through the period.
Justin Stymest would break Spencer Krall's shutout,
but Kole Keating would add the games final goal as
the LCCVI win 6-1.
LCCVI is
now 6-0 going into the All-Star break. Northern
moves to 2-3 on the season.
Both teams
are back in action on Wednesday, January 18th as
LCCVI hosts St. Chris and Northern hosts SCITS.
