Sarnia, ON - The Sarnia Sting have won their
last three games, with their latest being a 6-4
victory over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds
Thursday night at the RBC Centre.
Dominic
Alberga has continued his excellent play of the
three game stretch, scoring two goals and adding two
assists for a four point night, giving him seven
points in his last three games. Alberga would
open the scoring 1:21 into the first period, but the
lead would not last long as Carson Dubchak would tie
it.
Five
minutes later the Greyhounds would get their only
lead in the game as Nick Cousins scored his 23rd of
the season to put Sault Ste. Marie up 2-1.
The lead
didn't last long into the second, as Ludvig
Rensfeldt scored 51 seconds into the period to tie
it at 2-2. Sarnia would retake the lead late in the
period, as Brett Thompson netted his 24th of the
season to put Sarnia back in front 3-2 heading into
the third.
Sault Ste.
Marie would retie the game after Brett Findlay
scored 1:22 into the period, but Alberga would
follow up with his second of the game to put Sarnia
back in front. Under a minute later, Dylan Staples
would tie the game again, only for a minute later,
Nick Latta scored his 4th of the year to give Sarnia
the lead back.
Craig
Hottot would add his 15th midway through the period
and give Sarnia the victory.

Anderson got the start for the Sting and made 23
saves on 27 shots for the victory.
Sarnia is
back in action Friday night against Windsor before
heading out on the road for the rest of the month.
