Petrolia, ON - The Petrolia Squires ended their 2012
regular season with a 6-3 victory over the Milverton
4WheelDrives Friday night in Petrolia as part of the
WOAA Sr. AA Hockey league.
Tanner
Tomlinson had a pair of goals for the Squires and an
assist in the victory, while Kyle Hills also picked
up two goals in the victory.
Breydan
Belan lead the squires with four points, scoring the
games first goal while also picking up three
assists.
With the
score tied 1-1 after the first period the Squires
would score four in the second to give them a 5-2
lead heading into the third. Milverton was held to
just one goal in each period while the Squires out
shot their opponents 44 - 22.
Petrolia
finished the season with a 14-10-0-0 record and sit
in fifth place in the South division and will await
to hear who their playoff opponent will be.
