Kingston, ON - The Sarnia Sting scored twice in the second period to snap a four gaming losing streak, defeating the Kingston Frontenacs 2-1 Sunday afternoon in the third road game of the weekend.

In the second the Sting would get back the power play goal with one of their own, as Connor Murphy scored his 4th of the season to tie it at 1-1.

In the middle of the period, Sarnia would take its first lead as Dominic Alberga scored his 12th of the season, in what would end up being the game winning goal.

Sarnia would out shot Kingston 40-28 in three periods, with Brandon Hope making 27 saves for his 4th win of the season.

Sarnia ends their weekend on the road with a 1-1-1 record. Sarnia will have one game next week at home against the Plymouth Whalers on Friday before heading back out onto the road for a five game road trip.
