Forest, ON - Adam Arseneault score with one second
remaining in overtime to give the Lambton Shores
Predators their first win since November, defeating
the St. Marys Lincolns 3-2.
The
Predators snapped an eight game losing streak with
the victory, their first since November 30th against
London.
St. Marys
opened the scoring 2:38 into the first period as
Tyson Baker made it a 1-0 game. The Predators would
be quick to respond, as Ryan Trottier would tie the
game 1-1 heading into the second.
Lambton
Shores would get their first lead of the game after
Kody Ryan scored short handed. But the lead last 40
seconds as Reid Oliver scored on the power play to
tie the game at 2-2.
No scoring
in the third would send the game into overtime where
Arseneault would score just before the game would
head into a shootout.
Justin
Tugwell picked up the victory for the Predators
making 28 saves in the win.
Lambton
Shores outshot their opponents 41-30.
The
Predators are back in action next Sunday when they
head to Chatham.
