The Sarnia Lady Jr. Sting Atom C
team won the Mitchell Meteors
Women's Hockey Tournament this past
weekend (Oct. 21-23) in the Atom B/C
division. In regular round
robin play the Ladies went
undefeated and did not allow any
goals against. The team
defeated Ingersoll 5-0, Petrolia
6-0, Stratford 2-0 and tied Woolwich
0-0.In the gold medal game the
Lady Sting defeated Woolwich 4 - 2.
"It was an exciting final game" said
Coach Erin White after the game.
