The Point Edward Atom Blackhawks remain undefeated wtih a 3 - 2 win over Mt. Brydges Red.

In the 1st period Mt. Brydges score the only goal in the period.  In the second the Blackhawks came alive scoring their first goal at 3:09 into the period.  Owen Shearon scored assisted by , Shaun McDermott and Daniel Luciani to even things up.  Two minutes later they went ahead by one, to make it a 2-1 game with Jonathon King scoring with assists from Jeff Horner and Ethan Boucher. Mt Brydges answered back to tie it up at the end of the 2nd period heading into the third period with both sides even 2 - 2.

After two aggressive periods the Blackhawks were able to hold their composure and were able to put the puck in the net with 5:59 into the 3rd period.  Scoring the game winner was Jeff Horner, assisted by Rian Dinyer and Justin Waun.  Action continued and the Point Atoms held on to secure their 4th win of the season.

The Point Edward Atoms look to continue the win streak with game 5 on the road next weekend to meet the Mt. Brydges Gold team.
