Sting Name New Head Trainer
Sarnia, ON –
Sarnia Sting Head Coach and
General Manager Dave MacQueen announced today
that the hockey club has hired Jason Kaszycki as
its new Head Trainer and Athletic Therapist.
Kaszycki graduated with honours
from the Kinesiology program at the University
of Western Ontario in 2006 and received his
Advanced Certificate of Athletic Therapy from
Mount Royal College (Calgary) in 2008.
The London, ON native has
extensive work-related experience working in
hockey, baseball and football.
This past season Kaszycki was the
Therapist and Equipment Manager with the London
Nationals of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey
League.
Kaszycki also has previous hockey
related experience working with the Southern
Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) Men’s
Hockey Team. With the SAIT Men’s Hockey Team
Kaszycki won a Canadian Colleges Athletic
Conference National Championship in 2008.
Currently he is serving as the
Athletic Therapist for both the London Majors
Baseball Club as well as the London Beefeaters
Football Club.
Kaszycki will start working right
away with the Sting as the club prepares for
Training Camp which opens Wednesday August 26th.
The complete Training Camp schedule will be
released on Monday.
