STING AND SPITFIRES MAKE A DEAL

Sting Acquire Defenceman

file photo Sarnia, ON – Sarnia Sting General Manager Dave MacQueen announced this afternoon that the hockey club has completed a trade with the Windsor Spitfires.   The Sting have acquired defenceman Ron Soucie from the Spits in exchange for a 5th round pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection.   Soucie, a native of LaSalle, ON was a member of the Spitfires last season earning himself a OHL and Memorial Cup Championship.

Soucie is expected to join the Sting on Thursday as the team heads into its first day of On-Ice sessions at the SSEC.
